The promenade dance or what is commonly know as prom, is a magical night were young high-school students glam up to prepare for a semi-formal dance. It’s the perfect night to socialize, take awesome selfies with friends and dance the night out with the latest songs.
Here in Crested Butte, we took this sort of traditional night and upped the ante. Since it’s October, what better way to spend a prom night than to make it a Zombie Prom. This year will be the 9th Annual Zombie Prom, hosted by KBUT Community Radio, on October 25th, from 9 PM to 2 AM, and the theme is “Zombie Prom goes Hollywood!”
You don’t need to be in high-school to participate in the event. All you need to do is dress up in your most ghoulish zombie prom attire and party the night away. Who knows, you might even be crowned King or Queen of Zombie Prom.
Rumor has it that there will be several DJs playing the most ghoulish and frightful music. I’m guessing we will definitely hear some ‘Thriller’ music. Tickets will be sold at the door. This is a 21+ event, so please bring your ID. Feel free to reach out to KBUT yourself for more details.
If you are thinking about making a real estate purchase, or if you are ready to sell, let me buy you a cup of coffee and let’s discuss Crested Butte’s potential. Who do you know that wants to buy or sell a property? Let the Heather Woodward Team help. You can contact me on my cell phone (970)596-1394 or send me an email at
