If there is something that brings a community closer together, it is that of food and festivities. Such an event is the 47th Annual Crested Butte Art’s Festival which will feature incredible art, exquisite cuisine, breathtaking performances, art demonstrations, art auctions, and even children activities.
The event is one of the Summer’s biggest festivals and will be held on August 2nd through the 4th, 2019. The event will begin Friday at 5 pm to dark. Hours on Saturday and Sunday will be from 10 am to 5 pm. All the events will be set up along Elk Avenue in Downtown Crested Butte, a National Historic District, which is a scenic mountain town location. Even if the event is still far away, many people are excited about it.
Each year, the festival holds several art competitions. Last year, the winner for best in show was Brice McCasland and the Juror’s Award Winners were Pietra Wall, Scott Hildebrandt and Heinrich Toh. To view their artwork, visit the crestedbutteartsfestival website.
