Favorite February Ski Trails

We often think of February as the month of love. I agree whole hardheartedly.  Yesterday was Valentines Day. It was a perfect bluebird sky day. The day just beckoned you to come outside and enjoy the snow. We were celebrating our 39th anniversary. We took our cross country skis up Cement Creek and enjoyed an intimate ski with no one but the birds to keep us company. Cement Creek is magical in the winter. It changes on a daily basis as the water warms and refreezes. The sounds on each turn of the creek are captivating.  We were treated to magnificent views at every turn. Thanks to the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association and Al Smith at Camp 4 Coffee for continually grooming this wonderful draw for us all!
